I bought the enclosures pre-finished (powder coated) in cream and the brown knobs to go along w/the idea. Can't really change the enclosures at this point, though I could order different colored knobs.

Thinking back, though, the sound I was going for was kind of "frothy", not an in-your-face and harsh fuzz, so I think that's really what started it all. But the sound shouldn't be totally smooth; it should also have some potency, some kick, some "caffeine".
Ooooooh okay. I see. I get it now.

I've started a delay from an existing schematic/layout (I wouldn't dream of attempting to design something like that yet...maybe never). Got some stuff wrong on the board I soldered and it didn't make a sound, fixed one cold joint, so now it passes audio, but something else is goofy in that it goes into infinite feedback if I have the "repeats" knob turned up more than 1/8 turn or so, so I've got more debugging to do on that circuit.
Ill take it!

Why not Fresh Warm Fuzz. It is quite nice and warm for a fuzz tone. I do like that last idea best though

What's with the coffee angle though?
The twitchy coffee hands during soldering are an important part of the tone! :D

I also advise against the trademark-baiting design, as cool as that would be.

Hmmm... If you did a "fuzzy-nose" series, that could lend itself to varyingly aggressive/scary animals for different versions of the pedal. (e.g. a teddy bear for the smoothest fuzz to a grizzly for the harshest)

Also, another variant of one of my first ideas, but inverted colors:

Bill and Ted time traveled and brought a bass player from 1973, a drummer from 1984 and a guitar player from 1995. Now they're spreading peace all over the world 🌎
