WTF is the point of wine anyway?

The flavor is somewhat fruity....but the appeal can't be solely for the flavor because there are a million better flavor options.
It will get you drunk...but it takes a ton of it and there are a million better getting drunk options.

So I guess if you need a really high quantity of slightly alcoholic bitter tasting fruit drink to get you through the evening, then sure, go for wine.

It just tastes great.
Its comparatively strong (compared to beer) so you don't end up drinking as much volume, which I like.

Rumours of my alcoholism are greatly exaggerated. I buy wine in bulk because I live in a regional city where the stock in the local bottle shop isn't that great and it's cheaper that way. I don't drink it in bulk.

I'm surprised you're allowed to just spill the new roof rainwater out onto the original roof, rather than plumbed into the downpipe. Do you get much heavy rain there?

That's only the run-off from the top roof, it goes into the guttering around the main roof which goes down into the guttering on the other side of the lower roof.

When get fuck tonnes of rain here - outside of an actual rainforest, Wales is one of the wettest places on the planet.
