Some folks may remember that some years ago I built the worst speaker ever.

Well, shortly afterwards, I started thinking about improvements

Tonight, I am proud to present: the second worst speaker ever!

New features:
First and foremost - a much cooler beer choice for the case.
Second - corrugated cardboard instead of single-ply results in a much more robust construction
Third - Several larger speakers from new toys should result in better bass response
Fourth - better wiring. The previous version was supposed to have two modes at different resistances, but it didn't really work. This one can switch between 4 ohms with the largest speaker on or 8 with it off
Fifth - Glue instead of packing tape holding things together.

"But Steve," you may say, "what good is a gimmicky amp without impulses so that I can emulate your...tone"

I just had a buddy talk up spotted cow as his favorite beer. Hes a Packers fan so he and the family drove to Wisconsin to see a game, and he came back with cases of the stuff. He gave me a couple, I thought they were good, but I wouldn't drive a thousand miles for it.

I'll have to show this to him, he'll get a kick out of it.

Yeah, honestly, it's just a solid beer. It's hardly mind-blowing, and the same brewery even has better offerings. But if you think of it as the most basic beer available everywhere in Wisconsin, it makes the cheap beer outside the state seem much sadder.
