ANOTHER Spirit Level Song/vid

A MUCH simpler video this time.
This was a non starter as the rhythm with lots of holds an pauses was really difficult to get the swing of. The lead player couldn't get his head around it at all.
I had a go at it and found a bass guitar part that smoothed and seemed to make sense of the patterns as well as tweaking the structure a little to get some sense of groove in some spots.
I played bass & rhythm guitar, the lead player played lead and the writer/singer sang as well as BIABing the bvox, organ and drums.

I wonder if it would look better to cut the title cards at the beginning. They really don't seem to match the rest of the video's vibe.

I have no idea why i am dying over here visualizing Saddam Hussein eating Doritos.

@rayc Did any of your students ever go on to do any kind of digital or animation work? this video could have done very well with some animation (of saddam hussein with his cheese orange fingers) for comedy factor. I know that is a huge dream / ask but never rule it out. If i had the knowledge to do it I would take a stab at it lol.

I didn't spend more than an hour on this one as I thought the lyrics too literal to illustrate and there was no room for an alternate interpretation so bunged in some dictators with Charlie and was away. The composer wanted some light heartedness to match his lyrics so I dropped the "humour" into the choruses.
The title cards are consistent, I hope, across the songs I've done with them - that's the only reason for that choice.
I'm not excited about the song...I suppose it shows.
