HELP - intro & solo needed

Post by rayc »

Hello Folks,
This song is a hangover from last October. I had a local chap keen to record a solo and bits for it. I waited from October until about two weeks go when I started packing my gear up to move but, despite occasional contact from him saying he was still keen/working on it/had something and he'd come to my place to record it, nothing eventuated.
I worked out a simple enough thing for the solo but I don't have the knack of playing lead. Eventually I gave up trying to play the one I worked out and just recorded something that followed the root to fill the space.
Here's the song and chord sheet if anyone's interested.

Okay, stand easy. I've attempted to add something today that may fill the gap without being "good".

Thoughts & or suggestions...welcome.

@Bubba , I'll send you a wave file link by the forum's message thing with a version that has no fiddly bits. Ta.
