That is also a likely factor too, Yes. I have persistent problems with finding a good balance of low end punch on my first couple mixes of anything. Sounds good in my room, but just way too loud and obnoxious on any other system.Lt. It may also be the combination of the KRK thing and if you still have your monitors placed in the corners of your room? I know you don't have much room to work with you so you may only be at the mercy of those HF adjustments, and maybe adding a bit of corner trapping behind your monitors?
being in the corner usually adds to the bottom end so that may be the best place for them.

Re: Welcome To Lud
Ah, this track was initially mixed mainly on my AKG headphones I think Mix 1 may have been up before the KRKs arrived or, if not, they arrived when I'll was well on with this. The instrumental of this was completed weeks ago.
Master Buss EQ isn't something that I've messed with too much actually, this is the first time I've really played with it.
I've only really used it in the past to notch out a specific boxiness that I can hear easily (after the Blackstar my ear is fairly well attuned to boxy).
I went back to my Tom EQ too, I had a fairly large wide bulge at 5k - this was to make the toms cut though but I think it was also given them the plastic sound Greg was alluding too. I've just got rid of this EQ point.
