Department of - EP2

Post by liv_rong »

My second EP. I think it sounds better than my last effort. You have all heard most of these I believe.

Man ....... I like your stuff SO much.
Unsolved Mysteries is bad ass especially but all of it ...... really, really like it .... the sounds ... the concepts .... just wonderful!

I swear to God someday I'm gonna play on some of it or we're gonna collab or something ..... your stuff is exactly the kind of music I love!

Lots of atmospherics and cool use of reverbs. COOL stuff Unsolved could be well used as a theme song but it's better than that limited scope.
Do we have/should we have a section for "releases"?

Good stuff liv_rong!

Funny, accidentally had the first two playing somehow, and I thought I was just listening to Odd Times. And I thought to myself..."Odd Times, you got that right, I can't figure out what the hell he is doing here!" :lollers2:

Either way, good job and congrats on the completion of your collection.

Thanks everybody! rayc Unsolved Mysteries is a cover of a theme song! It’s the song I did for the challenge last year to cover a tv theme song.

I will make a final effort to start completing stuff before long... or just give up.

Well done, Liv.

Nice! Sounds all very well put together.

Though I hadn't commented on them, I enjoyed your recent threads comparing the re-recordings/re-mixes of some of these. It's awesome to hear the improvement over time.
awesome youtube comment of the day
Bill and Ted time traveled and brought a bass player from 1973, a drummer from 1984 and a guitar player from 1995. Now they're spreading peace all over the world 🌎

Made a quick little video for First Snow. I want to do one for a couple of them, we'll see.

I'm a liv fan .... everything he does makes me want to grab a sax or git and play along.
One of these days I'm gonna take a bunch of his music and just stick some stuff on top of it ..... not for him to use really, his stuff is complete as it is.
But it just inspires me to want to play over it.

I really can't think of that many recordists whose music evokes that response in me.
But all of his stuff does .....
