Who did what on this, Ray?

Biab did drums and the solo/lead things (running a wah track at too fast a tempo) but the rest is me.
I FINALLY found the right settings on my amp...seems, post mod, it is a pre phase inverter MV rather than post.
I retracked the vocals to day but they're worse - attempting melody just lead to awfulness.
I'll remix tomorrow without the double vocal and the very slight vocal bus reverb - I think it's my almost but not quite double tracking that makes it sound so verby/tunnelled.

Hi Ray

I have to echo (!) what Greg says about the reverb on this. The track sounds very murky, as if it's coming from the other end of a subway tunnel. I do like the sound of the guitars on this though - they're great.

It has a lot of that early 70s New York punk vibe. I think what may be sparking some recognition in Armistice is the Stooges' "Now I wanna be your Dog". The vocal phrasing is reminiscent of that.

The chorus vocals (and the NOOOO) kind of have that tin can sound you get from simple slapbacks. Is it just a single delay? I've often found that you can smooth that sort of thing out using two delays with unrelated times on them.
