Ray, I've not had chance to listen to these interims on decent headphones or monitors. But I'll try and have a listen later this arvo or tonight.

That sounds much better, Ray.
Its lost that feeling that the bottom end is all swirling together.
The kick is a bit innocuous.
Steve sounds better on this and I can pick out what he's saying now - he's always pretty clearly spoken and the previous mix made it hard to pick him out.

Re-listening to the latest mix, I'm noticing a number of pops (e.g. 2:58 and 3:00) are those mp3 compression or the track?

@JD[mention]JD01[/mention] James I've cleaned up some of the sub lows of the bass which has made space for the kick - I think @vomitHatSteve, The popping was/is the 12 string - simple bass runs - I've compressed it a little harder so it doesn't POP as much.

I think this is pretty good. I think it could use more "cleaning" in the middle, a little more width and space between the pieces. The middle is pretty jammed with midrange.

Put up a wav and let me have a crack at "mastering" this thing.

However, it sounds good. I can hear everything Steve is saying now.
The mix sounds good.
