Shit a bollock
Re: Shit a bollock
I have milk in my coffee, but I just drink a regular filter coffee.

People go coffee bananas during the holidays because Starbucks always releases some limited edition special pumpkin unicorn spice coffee drink that has like 9 million calories and 9 million grams of sugar and costs 9 million dollars. People line up for blocks for that garbage. I make my own old school regular coffee or get some from the donut shop. I don't care about lattes or espressos or cappuccinos or any of that crap. Just give me normal regular black coffee like a TV cop would drink.

As someone that used to manage a coffee shop, I couldn't agree with you more. Our prices were right in between giving it away (like a Dunkin Donuts, which is horrible coffee or convenience store crap) and taking your left arm for a cup (Starbucks and some hipster micro roasters that bought their beans from the same roaster I got my stuff from). We did have a very loyal following and for the most part people were cool.
I know most of my friends would have loved it because of all the various beans we had but, ironically or not, I don't drink coffee. The odd latte here and there but that's it. I'd rather have a beer.

I have read that milk in coffee, regular filter coffee, can sometimes cause one to shit a bollock. I don't want any part of that!

The secret to good coffee: Clean everything.
Failing that, dump enough sugar, butter, and flavor in that you can't tell it was coffee to begin with.

Lol at this thread.
I am on the butter coffee train myself when i can get my hands on the grass fed butter (some weird restrictions on it in Canada) . it's delicious. I have a buddy who brings back 88 sticks of kerrygold with him whenever he is in the states.

Probably better than mine. i am still wiaiting for a decent soldering gun to show up at a place here in town. I have this battery operated pen type thing i picked up for 7 bucks a bunch of years ago but it just makes messes more than it does any work.
I'll pick your brain for advice later down the road.

What are milk and cream but under-processed butter?
Y'all are reading too much into it, but I've heard that it's good.

Spoke to a mate of mine who's an electronics engineer. He said my solder is shitty modern stuff that you have to get really hot. Here's a link he sent me to some good old-fashioned leaded stuff.

This is what I've been using for the last few years. It's a solid yet cheap little soldering station from Weller. The tip that came with it is kinda big and awkward for fiddly little components, but I've managed to get by with it through a few pedal builds, several random kit builds, and a pickup replacement on my Les Paul.WhiskeyJack wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2018 1:58 pm Probably better than mine. i am still wiaiting for a decent soldering gun to show up at a place here in town. :edit: not sure what happened to my link...looks like the board is trying to do something fancy with a link to Amazon, but it's just blank after I submit it. Anyways, it's the Weller WLC100 40-watt soldering iron.

I'm just thinking about the saltiness of it. I guess you could use unsalted butter. Still yuck.vomitHatSteve wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 12:17 pm

It's been a good little iron. I'm definitely in the beginner/hobbyist/enthusiast category of soldering, so I'm not all that demanding. Although I do want to get a set of replacement tips so I can do smaller and more fiddly soldering without being so clumsy with the big default tip. The only tip assortment that I see on Amazon that fits this iron is a 3-tip set for $15, which seems high. Maybe the local home and hardware stores carry them for less.WhiskeyJack wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 3:20 pm This looks sort of like what i am looking for. and itis a heap cheaper than the one at a local shop here in town.
