I've been sitting on this one for ages because it was always intended to be for the glam band fronted by a guy obsessed with Jim Steinman. (That seems like a good match for the long, dramatic song about a new kid in school dying in a motorcycle wreck, you know?)

Anyway, that band is defunct now, so it's a Regdar and the Fighters Song

It's a good laugh.
That centre cymbal is a bit loud.
The rest is pretty standard Regdar and the Fighters arrangement & sonics.
Plenty of dynamics and variety to keep it fresh.
I remember disliking "mature aged students" when at teacher's college. It was the age or the personalities but the generalized trait that they worked really hard, did really well & didn't go to the pub.

Lol! No. As I was posting, I was a little worried it would read that way (motorbikes, old guy), but I wrote it in 2011, when I certainly didn't know you that well (plus, you were what? 60? Barely even old!)

I can imagine it being turned into the extended centrepiece tune of some sprawling stylistic mish mash of Bat Out of Hell and the Rocky Horror Show...
