I gave Mr Clean the ominous shoulder tap & asked him if he'd mind collaborating on a song.
Anthony did vocals & lead guitar as well as reworking the melody & lyrics.
I think it came out rather well.
Here's the song:
BIAB only for drums, organ and some incidental guitar moments.
Each word a recollection
Each day a verbal memoir
Each thought a past expression
Each episode a scar
Each moment a reflection
Each glance gone back too far
There's a ghost in this house
A TV eye refugee
There's a ghost in this house
A blur only the watchful can see
There's a ghost in this house
A ghost shadow of what's to be.
Each sign is a deflection
Each one leaks from the cracks
Each brings day's visitation
Each night to re-eneact
Each thought regurgitation
Each time more jumbled fact
There's a ghost in this house
Persistence of a vision's plea
There's a ghost in this house
It's hidden in the chroma key
There's a ghost in this house
It's in plain sight no one can see
Each placed in the collection
Each noted for recall
Each one had predigestion
Each filed to install
Each caught in thought congestion
Each stuck when thrown against the wall
There's a ghost in this house
It flickers between frames of we
There's a ghost in this house
That others' eyes choose to not see
There's a ghost in this house
And the ghost appears to be me.

Are you done with it since you have a video, or are you still refining?
'cause I'm hearing a lot of harshness in the vocal sibilants. And with the crashes in the chorus, it's a lot of high-end distortion

Yeah, I'm hearing the cymbals being a bit on the harsh and loud side - the bell ride in particular - and because the chorus has a lot of sibilants they're more obvious and probably need some taming - the verse not so bad. Finding the vocals a bit over-verbed too which isn't helping with the sibilance thing.
Good song though.
Simple enough to make audio mix changes and update the video with a new audio file, I'm sure.
