NICE!!!!
Good job man! I hope you it makes some noise for you and the smoke doesn't let loose. PROTIP: All the smoke needs to stay inside all that stuff. if the smoke finds it's way out it will affect your tone.
Now you know.

It's still early but I've already avoided all the traps that caught me in the last build, so I'm improving.

Home stretch....
Gotta mount the reverb tank vertically on the backside of the front panel. It floats on these silicon squishy grommets.

It lives on the back of the front panel inside the cabinet.

Gotta shield the back panel. I spent so much effort trying to create perfect grounding, I can't just let this go unfucked with. This should complete the farady cage aspect of the chassis, or at least help. Basic shielding tape.

Chassis bolted in...pretty serviceable just by removing the back panel. That's nice.

And voila!!!! Done! It's ready for a real tone test. Hopefully I won't have to go back in there.

I got some matching gray chickenheads..

So that's the complete build. It's fully assembled. Next, we see how it performs in this state. Some tweaks may be necessary, hopefully not.

That looks great! I really like the color of the tolex.
Another toy that helped destroy the elder race of man..forget about your silly whim it doesn't fit the plan.
Re: I didn't get electrocuted the first time...let's try another!!!
Thanks man. The wife picked the tolex and front grill cloth. She has good taste in amp coverings, not so much in husbands.
But more importantly, this thing fucking works great!
Of course, the first guitar to be plugged into this thing is the Mosrite. Has to be, right? Holy crap, the drip and tone of this reverb is killer. It's fucking perfect. I can't believe it. And it's not on fire! Very drippy and slappy and lush thick spring reverb. Very organic. I love it. Tonally I'm seeing no reason to tweak anything so far. First impressions are good. We'll see how the durability goes. It's still early.
Tones coming soon....

That looks great, Greg. Aside from the technical aspect of how well it works the workmanship just looks really good.
I'll have a listen tomorrow in the office if I get chance. I'm way behind on listening to anything by anyone.

made for in front of the amp?
Re: I didn't get electrocuted the first time...let's try another!!!
Thanks dude. Nothing to listen to from me yet. Stay tuned...
Yes. It can go in front of any amp. It's basically a big old tube powered spring reverb pedal.

This is how big it is compared to a typical 100w Marshall head.
Same height, same depth, about 2/3 wide, much much lighter though.

No, no loop. The GrAmp has spring reverb. It has typical Fender internal spring reverb, which isn't any different from this thing I just built....except it's in the amp. This thing has a different snap to it, and it can really be used for anything.
