Rough sketches/idea thread

I didnt think this would fit in the tone thread. I wanted to have a thread to share some ideas we are working on. I had a thread at another place of just my ideas, but lets make this a thread of our ideas. A place to post some sketches, riffs or just chords progressions for feedback, critique or encouragement.

Ill start now. Ive been recording my ideas and posting them on youtube and sometimes instagram but it would be nice to have some feedback on some of this stuff. Im doing mostly phone recordings for the purpose of not forgetting what I just came up with. And it has actually been very beatifically to me in the witting process. So, here are a couple from the past few days, just shortened passages to get the idea, and they fit on instagram in one post lol.

This is a great idea for a thread. I've been posting un-finished ideas in the Tone Thread, but a lot of the time I'm not just looking for guitar tone opinions. But since the tunes aren't finished, I can't post them in the "Let's have a listen" thread either. I often just want to post exactly like you're doing here, with a "what do you think so far?" type of vibe.

I'll listen to your clips when I sit down and check out for the day later tonight.

While I'm at it, I might as well say that I hate the name "Let's have a listen" for a forum. The MP3 Clinic can be called the "Clinic". Quick and easy. "Let's have a listen" isn't a good name and you can't really shorten it in a cool way. You can call it the "Listen" forum, I guess. But I wish the name was actually a noun, not a sentence with only verbs. "The...something" is what we need.

I like this one Liv. It reminds me of a good friend of mine and i was sitting here working away and started hearing basslines and percusions in my head.

This thread has potential to grow into something like a collaboration meeting ground. Awesome idea liv-rong.

Yeah, then I took it down after I re-mixed it about 3 times. It's still a work in progress, so I'll keep changing and adding.

Now that it think about it, I guess that's what this thread is about, so I shouldn't have taken it down. Maybe I'll put it back up later.

Here is a little loop thing I just came up with. BTW, the El Cap is set in this to be a little wonky but the compression of the video makes it a bit too much. In the room it didnt sound as wonky lol. Sloppy playing too haha.
