Eh. It's straightforward and simple. It works.
Is your lead vocal video just a tiny bit behind sync or is it me? That kind of stuff is so hard to get right!

Seems like it is off in some spots...and not in others you are right.vomitHatSteve wrote: βSat Mar 05, 2022 8:10 pm Eh. It's straightforward and simple. It works.

It synced up in the editor then after rendering it seems to be a bit off.
Spent an hour on it and said it is what it is.

Nah this was just a project. Always loved this song and wanted to dive into it. The bass line and some of the harmonies were a challenge to complete, so it was a learning experience. Also wanted to do something like a full band to test out mixing with my new cans.
My cover thing is mainly me and a guitar playing live.
Re: Nowhere Man
I told you that you'd nail it and you did.
The previous vid editor I used would play the same games...perfectly aligned and then, after render, spots were out...c'est le guerre.

Re: Nowhere Man
Out of interest, is the music track in your video editor a wav? And if so, what resolution?
Having a 44.1kHz wav in a video which renders at 48kHz can cause sync issues in the render.

Re: Nowhere Man
Good point...I did not look at that.
Pretty sure I rendered the audio at 44.1
Thanks

Damn, that was awesome! What video editor are you using? Great job, really enjoyed it.
I've tried doing videos of me playing all the parts (which I always do) but syncing them is a bitch! This was great. . . what's your secret?

If I knew what I was doing, I'd be dangerous!

Thanks! I use Powerdirector from Cyberlink. Has some cool features, but it did cost like $80.
I usually sync the videos by ear, and by looking at the audio waveforms in the editor. Then when they are all synced I match one with the polished audio track of everything. I sometimes have little pieces here and there that don't match up perfectly, but I am working out the kinks.
