Just a short one as it's gonna be the intro to a mate of mines podcast.

Haha pretty good. I think you're rushing the mutes in the first half of the mute section. As soon as they kick in my brain detected a slight hiccup. You get back in line in the second half.

You gonna have words to that? Something traditional Welsh, like kjsdfhlgskjhfl hmmmmwrrlllll lyyyydirf

Yeah, I'll redo that before they take it live. I think I'll simplify the bassline in that bit too... that bit is the "in this week's podcast... etc." Section. Want to keep it as simple as possible really.

The bass only intro is just for "welcome to the whatever-it-is podcast"

Oh, and I'm not interested in singing this.

Rhyfelgyrch Gwŷr Harlech

Wele goelcerth wen yn fflamio
A thafodau tân yn bloeddio
Ar i'r dewrion ddod i daro
Unwaith eto'n un
Gan fanllefau tywysogion
Llais gelynion, trwst arfogion
A charlamiad y marchogion
Craig ar graig a gryn.

Arfon byth ni orfydd
Cenir yn dragywydd
Cymru fydd fel Cymru fu
Yn glodfawr ym mysg gwledydd.
Yng ngwyn oleuni'r goelcerth acw
Tros wefusau Cymro'n marw
Annibyniaeth sydd yn galw
Am ei dewraf ddyn.

Ni chaiff gelyn ladd ac ymlid
Harlech! Harlech! cwyd i'w herlid
Y mae Rhoddwr mawr ein Rhyddid
Yn rhoi nerth i ni.
Wele Gymru a'i byddinoedd
Yn ymdywallt o'r mynyddoedd!
Rhuthrant fel rhaeadrau dyfroedd
Llamant fel y lli!

Llwyddiant i'n marchogion
Rwystro gledd yr estron!
Gwybod yn ei galon gaiff
Fel bratha cleddyf Brython
Y cledd yn erbyn cledd a chwery
Dur yn erbyn dur a dery
Wele faner Gwalia'i fyny
Rhyddid aiff â hi!

Bombastic ! Just for a lark I did a google translate and it actually worked. I didn't expect them to have Welsh in there. No Idea how acurate it is

The Men of Harlech Campaign

Behold a white bonfire blazing
And tongues of fire shouting
When the brave came to strike
Again one
By the wrongs of princes
Voice of enemies, armor troupe
And the galloping of the riders
Rock on rock and gravel.

Arfon never ends
Sing for ever
Wales will be like Wales has been
Famous among countries.
In the light of that bonfire
Over the lips of a Welshman dying
Independence is calling
For his fattest man.

An enemy shall not kill and pursue
Harlech! Harlech! rise for persecution
There is the great Giver of our Freedom
Gives us strength.
Behold Wales and her armies
Getting out of the mountains!
They rush like waterfalls
Llamant as it is!

Success for our riders
Stop the alien's sword!
Know in his heart he will
Like a Brython sword biting
The sword against sword and bitterness
Steel versus steel and dery
Behold the flag of Gwalia'i up
Freedom it takes!
Cheers

I think it misses some of the nuance... but you get the idea.

Did pretty well actually cos we have a load of words that mutate depending on where they are in a sentence. It's coped with the mutations ok.

I thought this sounded very good and I think it should work well as intro music to a podcast.

At about :29 you took out the "main" guitar part, which I am guessing you did to leave room for a voice to come in and introduce the show? I've never analyzed podcast themes before, but I wonder if :29 seconds it too long to get to the vocal? It just felt to me like it might.

But other than that, this should work well.
