I wish I'd insisted on calling them plectra too. I feel like such a Benedict Cumberbatch.

I know, it took you just a few pots to remind us all, AGAIN, how british you are.

Makes them easier to find when the house lights are down...
Re: What kind of pick do you use?
I just put in an order with Gravity Picks... placed the order at 10:12 and got a note to say they had been dispatched by 10:19. That's gotta be some sort of record? Oh and two mins later 10:21 - I had a message off PayPal to say when my parcel should be here.
Re: What kind of pick do you use?
Anyone got one of those plectrum stampers? My cousin gave me one as a birthday present/joke and I stamped picks out of credit cards (including the exclusive Amex silver and black picks*) and other cards I had.
The picks are rubbish because credit card plastic flexes differently and the edges are sharp, but they do look kind of cool...
* I work for a bank so we all get fee-free high end Amex cards - god forbid I'd actually pay hundreds of dollars in annual fees for one.

Re: What kind of pick do you use?
Since they don't make a teardrop stamp, and that's what I was using at the time, I didn't get one. I'm going to look into it now that I've settled on a different shape. I believe they sell the plastic sheets as well. Or that the least you should be able to source that stuff at any home repair store.Armistice wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2017 7:23 am Anyone got one of those plectrum stampers? Armistice... Bill... you've both got amazing and very expensive guitars and you want to save cash by stamping your own plectrums!!Bill L wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2017 11:32 amSince they don't make a teardrop stamp, and that's what I was using at the time, I didn't get one.
