The Great South land was theorised before being "found" as needed to balance the northern hemisphere...colonies were either defence outposts or export centres or both. Small Flower doesn't really meld with the other character/image projections from TCC in the series except in the one where they are in an alternate Australia of course.
See... I'm not even entirely sure which one you're talking about right now. Is it both? Was there some real British colonialist named "Small Flower"?
I thought he was called Twoflower.

That is so cool! What a great idea. Did you carve those? Love the song and the video.
If I knew what I was doing, I'd be dangerous!

That series was the worst casted in the entire history of shite casting. So bad that to this day I have refused to watch it.

The principal characters are well cast...Two Flowers, Rincewind & Cohen. Tim Curry is wrong on multiple levels partly becasue it's him and partly the way the script moulded him. It's certainly not the worst Pratchett illumination...the two animations would rate as poorly drawn and even worse scripted. I had though DJ for Rincewind was an awful call but it worked. That's what comes from watching something that I was uncertain about - I was pleasantly surprised.
