The hi-hat chick sound is definitely there - hard-panned to the right ear. There is a definite rhythm to it, too.

I hear the ticking in a stereo image it's "up right".
In head phones it's fairly obvious.
It could well be metronome or part of a hi hat sound but it's there & quite clear.
This section of the site is for critical listening - so folks listen and critique.
I've been sent packing to retrack bass or guitars and in one case both. This is fine with me because I posted expecting to hear what needed fixing in the mix or, more fundamentally, in the tracking.
The commentary is constructive.
Beside the ticking there a deep low end sound like a 2nd kick drum thumping away very low freq on the right side. It could be a floor tom but it doesn't have any definition - it's lower than the kick drum tone and may be part of the bass but it beats square four.

If you're used to people giving you meaningless props then this isn't the place for you.
If you get props here it actually means something.
If you can take criticism ( all talented people can ) then this place has some of the very best ears and will elevate your recordings.
It's up to you .... we don't care if you're here or not but no one's hostile to ya' yet so calm down .... pull up your big boy pants and act like an adult ....... or don't
