Yeah......Here let me try.

That was your BEST effort so far. The guitar is out of tune and the vocals are pitchy, but it adds....um.....what's a cool word....oh yeah....."Character". It adds character to the song. The drums sound like gabage cans, too, but it suits the song with the out of tune guitars and pitchy vocals.

The rest, like the fact that the melody goes nowhere and the chorus is more forgettable than a test pattern, is all personal taste.

I'm a rebel. I'm like Bob Dylan and Lou Reed all rolled into one. But don't talk to me about anything "old school". :D

I get it. Tuning a guitar is way too conventional.

Check it out when you can. It's not like one of my usual mixes, but in some ways it is. I went full Lou Dylan on it! :robus: :drums:

Bank robber! Cool cover Greg, I was astounded to hear the mellow bvox.
You have a near encyclopedic knowledge of The Clash and it shows in your covers.
The riffing on HR's new shining path is amusing too.
Cheers

Man, what can I say. Sounds phenomenal. Loving the reverb on the drums that I don't usually hear on your mixes. Nice delay on the vocals, too. Sounds really good. I don't know how to break this to you, but you're grooving on this one, you got a nice feel, and you're in the pocket. :D

What's playing with that recurring hum along line? Sounds really cool.

I think the part you're asking about is just the LP Custom, neck pickup, through a Crybaby into one of my Marshalls. I play it kind of muted and work the wah to match the picking. :guitarhero:

HA! Holy crap, that's so cool. I thought it was a vocal with something sounding like a horn or some kind of strings following it. Sounds like someone humming a tune. Cool.

Lol well wait, there are low "ahhhh ahh ahhh oooo oooo ooo" vocals going on, and a guitar that sort of matches it.

Oh, so that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, the guitar mixed with the "aahhs" blends really well, sound horn-y.

Awesome. I don't know wtf The Clash used on their version. It's got all kinds of weird reggae dub sounds all over it popping in and out. It sounds awesome but I can't do that shit. I only have a bunch of guitars and some effects so I made do.
