You know where I can get decent mic fluffys for recording spoken stuff outside?
To go over my AKG C1000S Mics

In the States, B&H Photo Video is a go-to place for such things. In the UK, I really don't know.
You might search for "dead cat", which is what the furry windscreens are sometimes called (over here at least). Kinda morbid, but creepily accurate
Rycote makes the Ball Gag, but sheesh those things are $120 USD. They look perfect though...better than a foam windscreen, more attractive than a dead cat.
Most of the ones that I see are made for shotgun mics, which makes sense. It's mostly video guys that are venturing outdoors with sensitive microphones. Us studio guys stay indoors with our toys

Cheers Armistice. The first one is a foamy. But the 2nd should be OK.
Re: Mic Fluffy

Cheers, would never have thought to look for a deadcat.

I use Crown Royal bags over the mics. Always gets a few laughs and is a conversation starter.
And it doubles as electrical protection from improper grounding. And I say this from multiple experiences.
