In the OP there's a mix with just the comped vocal in the verse and much reduced bvox in the choruses.
I did the unison parts to strengthen my weak spots mainly but they're gone in this mix - except the choruses.

Re: In There Somewhere ...ALMOST finished
Hmmm.. That does seem to make it cleaner, yeah.
Re: In There Somewhere ...ALMOST finished
I used a ADT on the bvox of a song a few months back...In The Kitchen and I copped such a shellacking for it that it's made me gun shy.
There're a couple of decent free ADTvsts about but they all seem to lean to one side becasue the delay isn't quite sorted.

To me that's much better. You could bring the vocals up a little now and they'd be nice and clear.rayc wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:38 pm @vomitHatSteve , @Greg_L , @WhiskeyJack, @JD01 & @Lt. Bob ,

I was wrong though...you should keep double tracking. I'm sorry for being so cantankerous about it. Though I don't really like sloppy-ish double tracking, you'll never get better at it if you don't keep doing it. And your vocals keep getting better, so just keep on trucking with what you're doing.

Okay, clearer and better (?).
More volume...I'll give it a burl...I've had to do a little tweaking and comping to address some notes that stand out now as toooooooo off to keep.
Cantankerous...no, I understand exactly and am trying to simply get better at performing the parts and comping them together if needed.
The moosh that imprecise unison work creates is something for me to hide behind.
Thanks for the feedback...it helped.
