kung fu

Post by liv_rong »

Named this because a progression in here reminds me of a band I like called Karate.

Anyways, this is very bare bones. You know how I roll, I basically write, record, mix and then move on with my life. So, Ill likely never do anything else with this. But, maybe I will......

You speed up or catch up in the rim shot sections.
Interesting stuff..I'm not fussed on the level of the toms and when the 2nd guitar comes in around 2mins it seems odd to start with what sounds like the tail of a previous low chord.
After 3 mins when the guitars get heavier the snare seems a little lame in comparison.
I like this - please continue with it.
Cheers

You've got a great recorded drum sound going, man. The stereo spread is great, everything is clear and balanced. I love the bloom on the crash cymbals, they're so smooth sounding. And I can actually hear your side-stick. Mine get lost and disappear. I think I'm doing mine wrong :)

Very cool!

I think it's definitely a speed-up on the second iteration.

I thought this sounded very good. Excellent tone on the clean "main" guitar.

Something seems off with the chord at about 1:57. Like you grabbed the chord wrong. It's a bit out of tune.

Generally very good sounding.
