Like everyone else noticed, it's very Dylanish.
The guitar is fairly lofi. There isn't a lot of upper end. It kind of fits the Dylan vibe. But it's a tradeoff because it feels dated.
The vocal is pretty far out in front of the vocal. Maybe nudge up the guitar a db or two.
Little pop at 1:04.
Thanks! Yeah, I’m going for that dated feel. Can’t bump up the guitar because it’s all one mic and take

I jumped somewhat to the middle (Soundcloud doesn't play nicely with autoplay being off, so I'll sometimes click randomly in the track) and didn't notice the hiss until the end. it's not that pronounced when the track is going.
What's the advantage of the tape plugin?
It’s honestly meant for larger mixes by “gluing” the tracks together and providing a little high end sparkle, but I used it to give my track a more dated feel. I’m thinking maybe this new plugin in Reason could have done that job.
“Naaaaaaaaaah man. I ain’t touching that mic. That thing’s expensive!”
