Well, I never thought I would purchase a plugin but then this TC Electronic line came along and I got this. I per-ordered it like a month ago and it shipped today. I like the idea of having real buttons to push. Definitely a possibly impulse buy failure, but we'll see.

As far as I understand, it's a table-top control surface for a VST plugin. They actually look pretty interesting, I'll be interested to hear how this one works out.
I've been looking for a good reverb plugin lately. I almost bit on Lexicon's holiday sale, but since they can't get off of their asses to validate their plugins for Windows 10 (4 years later), I just can't give them any more of my money. I've got the MPX Native plugin and I love it, but I just can't drop another $100 on a plugin from a company that's too damn lazy or cheap to validate their product on the most popular operating system in existence.

Everyone makes some sort of Klon these days
Wait till you see what i found. I'm keeping it under my lid until it is 100% concrete and going to happen. And if it does, "the universe" may have hand delivered what will probably be my first pedal i actually gas'd over.
Post more when i know. I told JD but thats about it. I don't want to jinx it so i am just not talking about it.

First I thought it would come yesterday then it said Monday but I was surprised that it showed up today. First off, much smaller than what I thought, but that’s fine. It’s actually perfect once you get to using it. Super simple set-up, it did everything for me. I didn’t even have to put anything into the right folders.
Sound wise it’s pretty nice right out of the gate. I like it a lot actually. This will definitely be a key peice to my mixes moving forward. Has the ability to save and recall presets and many tweaking options. As I posted on Instagram it is really satisfying to push these buttons vs using a mouse, pretty fun.
To install you first must dl the plugin from the tc website and install then just plug this in an you’re off. This acts as a dongle to the plungin and you can install it on muiltple computers but they won’t work unless the hardware is plugged in.
Great concept. If you like wasting money on things you don’t really need then this is definitely for you.

Yup, just reverb.
That is pretty cool really. I wonder how many more devices like that exist?

I'm way too cheap to pay 100 bucks for a plugin. I've been using the Sanford reverb lately. It sounds pretty decent and it's free. https://www.lesliesanford.com/vst/plugins/
Another toy that helped destroy the elder race of man..forget about your silly whim it doesn't fit the plan.
Got a RAT! I like it actually. I also got that Triangle Big Muff reissue, its ok, it really isnt as nice sounding as the OG. I also ordered an SD1 but they shipped me a DS1, didnt try it, just sending it back for the right one.

Damn I got an old Rat sitting here that I haven't used since like 1994.

You know I almost made a thread about how I want to try all the classic drive type pedals. Now I wish I would have. Ha

I think there are two types of OD/Dist pedals.
1) The ones that suck real bad
2) The rest that all sound and work the same
Yeah, I agree. I just want to see what they are all about and hear their nuances myself. I’ve had a few and never really got along with them, with the exception of the EP Booster, but that’s a different thing altogether.
My coworker let me borrow his Boss Blues Driver BD2 and I was totally taken back by how good it sounded. My amp alone sounds better of course, but still. I was already considering this plan of trying them out but then using this made me want to ahead and do it.
I want to try both tube screamers (ts9 & 808), the SD1, the Rat and the OCD. I can’t think of any others off the top of my head.

I do like the OCD. I don't like it into a dirty amp, but if you use a clean platform and wanted it for your dirt, it's great for that.
