I was just looking at these on the Anderton's site. 30 quid each!
That Mooer looks interesting. All of those cheap Chinese pedals always seem like a decent buy but everyone Ive had is disappointing.JD01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 23, 2018 12:04 pm

I don't want more cheapo pedals though - I have loads of them.
Part of me is curious about the Mooer Rage Machine though!

Totally man! And you know didnt mean my post as a dig against you or anybody else, right?JD01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 23, 2018 12:32 pm haha, you only have a problem if you can't afford it!
I just don't need Strymons and stuff like that. I just want decent quality stuff that's relatively simple, I'm not into soundscapes or anything like that.
My board is actually quite simple. Tuner>TS>OCD>Chorus>Phaser>FX Send>Mooer Echolizer>HoF>FX Return.
.....
I've only really started buying decent gear in the last few years and it does make a difference... partly 'cos you're not fighting with shit gear... and partly 'cos you know you can't blame the gear, so you try harder! - if its sounding shit, its your fault!
I have to invest in one.
We use drones at work all the time for surveying - they're great. We even do volumetic calculations for earthworks using drone models.rayc wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 3:42 amI have to invest in one.
Over the last three weeks of storms we've had 5 or 6 roof tiles break and water get into the living room twice and the kitchen once. Each visit by the roofer was $300. there was every likelihood that the tiles weren't broken and I'd've had to pay the call out fee. If I get a drone with camera I'll be able to check the rook regularly and not wait for internal rain to let me know there's a problem.
The post office is selling some with cameras for about AUS$70 so am doing some research into the thing.
As do we!! Its fascianting. Huge lots of data to process though.JD01 wrote:We use drones at work all the time for surveying - they're great. We even do volumetic calculations for earthworks using drone models.rayc wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 3:42 am

Bubba, after using the Yamaha HS8's for way over a year now, whaddya think of 'em??? I'm still using the M-Audio BX8's I've had for years, but I'm looking at possibly getting some better monitors...Bubba wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2017 8:30 am Sometime this week I'm buying a mint used pair of Yamaha HS8 monitor speakers. I'm really stoked to use them. I feel that the low end is one of the bits of my mixing that is falling behind the rest in terms of keeping it under control and balancing it correctly.
In order to do that, I guess I'm going to need to hear it properly.
So, if any British Rebels fancy some Yamaha HS5s, there will be a pair going spare very soon.![]()
I don't personally minernuggs but i have a two friends that i know for sure that have them and they are quite happy with them and have tried twisting my arm to get rid of my Rokkit5's and upgrade to HS8's.Minerman wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 3:26 pmBubba, after using the Yamaha HS8's for way over a year now, whaddya think of 'em??? I do have some treatment in my room, but I'll probably pick up some more Roxul to make some more panels & basstraps before long...Even though it's winter, I should be able to have a day or two here/there to slap 'em together...
Any of you guys that have experience with these monitors care to share your opinion of 'em???
