GRRR, Density MkII is one of several VSTs I can't get Reaper to recognize at present. It's quite cool when I could run it on my 32 machine.

Have you tried just finding the .dll file and dropping it in your Steinberg (X86) or VST folder (whatever you have) with the other .dll files? That's what I just had to do with the Ferric one to get it to be picked up.

The Limiter No.6 free plugin by Vladislav Goncharov(!) I think it's quite transparent, at least on the settings I use. There is some compression in the mastering suite. I usually use a tweaked version of the limiter no.2 preset. I've tried mild gluing with the Red 3 Compressor before I hit it with the limiter, but I don't think they play nice together. I can detect a little pulsing/pumping that I don't like.
Cool, I'll look it up. I tend to just use Reaper's Event Horizon Limiter with a bit of EQ as I need it.

For a saturation plug, try the Camel Crusher. Just don't touch the "mech" setting, just the tube setting.

Yeah, I tried that. I will try again on the weekend - I had a couple of Waves plug that, I've discovered neither worked nor allowed others to work so things may improve now I've shredded them.

I could be wrong, but don't Waves plugins need to be linked to an authentication licence?

+1 on the Ferric plug Greg mentioned, as a general tool, BTW.

Bit late to this, but I liked it. Repetitive drum machine is a good sound. Nice work on the reverse reverb!

I know you posted instructions on how to do that (reverse reverb) over at the other place - don't suppose you stored the link somewhere?

I have them in a document on my pc too. :smiles:
1. duplicate the track you want to add the effect to.

2. Right-click on the media item you want to work on. Select "Reverse track as new take".

3. Add a big reverb plugin of your choice to the track, 100% wet.

4. Under "Items" select "Apply track/take FX to items as new take".

5. Right-click on media item, select "Reverse track as new take".

6. Remove the reverb plugin from the track.

7. Under "Item" ; "Take" - select "Glue Items within time selection" or "Crop to active take". This gets rid of the other take lanes on the track and cleans the whole thing up.
Have fun.

Cheers, I had no idea how this was done... cue a track from me that's swimming in pointless badly done effects.

I can offer bubba. Jusy on a phone. But the roland sounds pretty impressive. Great cover man. Vocal delivery is mint.

Cnt comment anything on the mix man.
