Have I Riffed Off KISS?

I was goofing around with this progression last month but put it aside whilst struggling with my most recent track. Before I try to do anything with it I need to know if it's a blatant or discrete rip off.
It could be KISS or somebody else.

It has a familiar sound Ray, but not a rip off that I know of. Go for it, I like it.

Kiss was ripping off everyone before them. Even if you were ripping off Kiss, you are ripping off something off the first 3 albums...which most people don't remember.

I think the biggest danger you are in would be writing a song for 40-50 years ago. Especially with that kind of guitar sound.

Not at all - I thought it a fine comment & funny as well. Given the primordial swamp nature of early Kiss riffs and the borrowings that informed them I took it as a good thing.

I don't think you've ripped anyone off here Ray, even if you did it's no big deal...That has been going on forever, whether it's on purpose or not, so don't worry about it man...
