even if you tried just mixing them a little differently? tonally they can get bigger with some eq probs and bit more room space. I am staying as far away from the Superior Drummer Rabbit hole as i can. EZD2 is just as good without all the OCD distractions for a guy like me. I don't need that much bells and whistles.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been resisting SD cos I know what I'm like, I'll end up like Minerman! I'd be way too OCD and will spend hours fucking about with little nuances that make almost no difference
Do you own any EZ expansions currently? Or just the stock barebones kit that comes with the original. I ask for a reason. I may have a trick for you.
