It the usual thing of folk who think they are clever and funny being neither.

Got my channel strip! Just in time for not caring about recording at all anymore!
Maybe it'll sound good enough to inspire me.
I'll check it out this weekend and do a review.

Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
what a nice thing to say .... thanks man, I appreciate it.
Re: NEW GEAR!!
I've got my shopping list in a Google Docs spreadsheet. (Use the same spreadsheet to list the current inventory too; anyone else do that?) I've noticed that since the most recent splurge (buying parts for my drum-refinishing adventures), I've done nothing but shuffle things between high/medium/low-priority categories.
Maybe that's a sign I don't really need to buy anything else? It could also be a sign that the remaining things on the list, whatever their prioritization, are all way too expensive for the family budget? Or maybe what it really means is that I should stop dicking around with lists (or daydreaming about shopping) and get to writing/recording some tunes...
awesome youtube comment of the day
Bill and Ted time traveled and brought a bass player from 1973, a drummer from 1984 and a guitar player from 1995. Now they're spreading peace all over the world

Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
New pedal day. Got the Wampler Latitude Deluxe to replace my Moog MF Trem. So much more versatile, especially for the stuff I do.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
that Wampler stuff is supposed to be pretty good ...... congrats
Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
Looks fine to me.
Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
Ooh, a Wampler! They have a really good reputation, although I've never used any of their stuff myself.
Re: NEW GEAR!! Buying anything?
