Random badly played out of tune mandolin on the left isn't doing you any favours here.

Listened to a few of these now - how do you build your mixes up? I tend to start by getting a drum sound I'm happy with then adding the bass to it, mixing them together so they're playing nicely before I start adding the other stuff. Its quite a simplistic approach but it could help you.

I'm not sure of your intent .... if it's just a song idea it could be simpler ....I think you said you're just doodling so it's a decent doodle with a few ideas to make use of.

if you're trying different recording techniques try some different ones.

If you're just trying to make JD01's head explode I think it done 'sploded.

I was simply putting out some ideas.

I been forcing myself to keep sitting with the guitar and fight through the impulse to play it for 5 minutes and go lay down.
