ONE useful AIRWINDOWS Plugin

I've tried a bundle of AIR WINDOWS stuff and mostly they're just Kooky and hard to fathom how to use effectively.

The one I've found some good use for is IRON OXIDE.

It's supposed to replicate tape in some way, (band pass & drive?), that I can't quite fathom. It can be tweaked on three parameters with the middle one actually just making things louder.

BUT

I've found that, in it's native positions - no tweaking - it helps vocals cut through a little better. Not just mine either. I've used it on three different voices and they all sat better with it.

I've also found that it can do the same with bass though with the middle parameter at its middle setting.

I scored it for free with a bunch of other free Air Windows stuff a couple of years ago. I've deleted almost all of them as I couldn't work them out & his how to videos are NO HELP whatsoever.

Do you think he is purposely trying to sound like Donald Trump in those videos? Strange guy. Doesn't come across as inspiring for the products. I'll have a look at the one you mentioned though @rayc
