Stylistically I didn't want both to be vertical scrolls and since the verse lyrics are easier to hear/grab due to the pacing I decided that folk might only need to grab the occasional word.
There is the added advantage that the horizontal scroll mimics the breakneck pace of executive orders.

OK but it should be smaller letters so it can scroll slower .... make it a lot easier to read and right now it's flying by so fast it's interfering with watching the vid

Yep - what they said. Perhaps try a change of colour first though? Red isn't the best for reading. Also at 0.58 what the other guy is singing isn't what scrolls past, I don't think. The line after "new religions rise..."

I had tried that but with no great success.
I changed the size, colour, extended the time frame beyond the audio section to encompass the wind on/off & added a contrast strip.
The results are a little better but the strip shudders occasionally and is still pretty fast but an improvement overall...thanks for the tip.

There are two spots actually & I couldn't quite catch what he was saying so just stuck with the written text he'd sent.
