Cool cover @JD01
The strumming guitar sound great, really even and smooth.
I think the lead guitar could have a little more edge EQ wise, maybe boost it a little in the upper mids.
The vocals sound good but are too dry for me, especially in the chorus.
Harmonies are well done and I like that you held them for the last chorus. I might put some chorus effect on the harmony part to fatten it up a bit.
Random note...there seems to be a lip smack at :24

Re: Screaming Trees - acoustic cover
I wouldn't know if the vocals are too dry? Can't even tell if there any vocals in this even?

As far as the acoustics go they sound awesome. Really. they do sound awesome. Like perfect sounding rhythm acoustic sounds. how did you capture that? Whats the mic set up? Di?
And even though i may bust your balls for being shreddy sometimes, i can deeply respect how fluid you make those solos sound on an acoustic. If I tried even just the most basic solo on an acoustic it would sound so forced and rigid and genuinely awful. Great job dude.
Spoke to soon. Your click track is is front and centre at 2:03-2:04 dipshit. FuckSakes how long you been doing this for JD???? jesus. Get it together.

Yeah, I've spotted the click in there too, you can hear it right at the start too after the intro riff.WhiskeyJack wrote: βSun Jan 12, 2025 1:23 am I wouldn't know if the vocals are too dry? Can't even tell if there any vocals in this even?

Acoustics are just a c1000s pointing between the 12 and 15th fret of my guitar. I've always found simple is better for guitars.
