I wish Assassin’s Creed had a mode where killing isn’t allowed and you can just walk and climb and look around. My dad would actually play that. And he’s 75.
I used to like just climbing the tall things and looking around for a bit, then doing the big, completely unrealistic, dive into the cart of hay. HZD is pretty good for aimless rambling too, especially once you can harness a sunwing and fly everywhere - alas you can't ramble too far on the gound without running into some fearsome machine or a pack of them, but the landscapes were really beautiful.

The next AC game takes place in feudal Japan during the Oda Nobunaga period, which I’ve wanted for 10 years now. I’m excited. But then… it’s. 2025 game and I hope my computer can play it lol

Want to show my iMac’s capabilities with this game that’s now my new favorite. Takes places in Ancient Greece.

What do the images tell me? I see letterboxed C.G. of so so quality. Is this good, bad or indifferent?
To demonstrate just how out of touch I am - I'm still surprised adults play computer games. It's something I have no understanding of. I'm still shocked adults build LEGO models. I'm old.
Cheers

I hate the letterbox. I tried to manipulate all the settings to get rid of it and I can’t, so it’s obvious they want that.

Anyway, it does look semi-realistic. This game was back in 2018, too. All of this is real time rendering and not cutscenes.

There’s another game called Empire of the Ants that’s photo-realistic that my game can play but struggles even on low settings. I’ll try to take a screenshot on max settings to show but it’s insane how real it looks.
