Makes you realise how complex some of the Smith's songs are. Marr is a great player - always had time for him. Doesn't sound a million miles from the original - mebbe a little toppy but probably nothing a bit of EQing wouldn't solve. And I'm sure Marr is using a really short delay or reverb on his to thicken it out a little.
Out of interest, what frequency is your HPF set at?

Yeah, I vaguely mentioned to Bubba I was gonna learn This Charming Man and that it was trickier than I expected... We then made it a challenge to record it all the way through in single takes with no punch ins.
One of the guitars has a bit of slapback on it, the other has chorus... and I've added way more reverb than I normally would in the mix.
I'll check the HPF when I get to my desk.
